Nbs Tahoe
Nbs Tahoe - It is a 2005 z71 with 136k miles and is flawless, except for a rub or two on the paint. What upgrades did you do on the suspension? Been spending some time working on the tahoe again now that i've taken a new position at work that keeps me from being on call as much. Starting getting the rear tubs. It is basically removing the complete mount for the bump stops, i have seen some tahoes and suburban lowered as much as 10 and not need a c notch. The nbs suv is an upgrade but not by much, and its the only factory rear upgrade option. I've read multiple threads here and on other forums about swapping to the tahoe/suburban/yukon rear 2 piston calipers, caliper brackets, and thicker suv rotors. I'm pretty sure all these tahoe and yukons have the rake. My 06 yukon 2wd ( with the thrid row seat) had the same rake as the rest. Its about a 2 difference from front to back. Parts $2300 t56 gm/ls1. I have had two obs tahoes and loved them both. The nbs i am looking at may be too sweet of a deal to pass up tho. But with the nbs i am only gaining creature comforts. I have a 6. 0 nbs escalade i had plans for, including a 2spd transfercase swap etc but i sorta lost interest. However, i'm just looking to get something new(er) and shiny. I am really wanting to go with a tahoe/yukon either way that i go but i cant decide if i should go nbs or obs. I was hoping to get some opinions on these and figure out which is. Getting bored with my tahoe so figured i would try and post some pictures up to see what yall think. Maybe give me some suggestions on what i could do next.
